Well well .. how’s everybody?  Madina has been on the downlow for the past 3 weeks since we got home from the Silverstein tour and it’s been pretty relaxing to say the least.  We’ve been on tour, writing or recording constantly since 2007 and haven’t had more than a week off since.  It’s what we love to do so we’ll never forget how lucky we are.  Especially at times like these when the music industry is falling apart and we’re watching some of favorite bands and friends get dropped from their labels or break up because of it.  It’s also a time when bands have to churn out records every year instead of every 2 years to accommodate attention spans.  Accordingly we’ve decided to take the next 2 months to write our 3rd record.  It’s a down time for touring in general and the fact that we’re already itching to write again makes it the perfect time to do so. As an artist you have to be prepared to drop everything and create when the iron’s hot and the iron’s super hot right now.  We’re taking Madina to the next level :)

We’re also routing a UK and European tour to begin toward the end of March 2010.  We will announce dates and support as soon as we confirm them!  And of course we get to go back to Japan next week to play Osaka and Tokyo and that seems like the perfect way to end this cycle of touring.  Thanks again and again for everything you guys do for us.  Stay in touch, we love hearing from you and remember, enjoy your life.  skert skeert

FML !! i hope there is a date somewhere in the UK before the 27th of march thats when i go to Florida ! why would this happen the first family holiday abroad in 7 years and my FAVORITE  band comes over to the UK i swear 2010 is alrady showing bad signs arrrrrrrrrrr !! :’(  :’(  :’(
